Create a traditional hexagon quilt with this GO! Hexagon-1", 1 1/2", 2 1/2" Sides die. Normally you'd spend hours cutting loads of hexagons by hand with scissors or a rotary cutter. But with this die and your GO! Big, GO! Baby, GO!, or Studio fabric cutter, you can cut through multiple layers of cotton at once.

Use GO! dies with your GO! and GO! Baby Fabric Cutters to cut precise, accurate shapes in just seconds.

Features and Benefits:

  • Cut so much more in less time—Cut up to 6 layers of 100% cotton fabric at once
  • Easiest to use—Simply place die on cutter, then fabric and cutting mat on top
  • Get accurate cuts every time—No slipping rulers or mistakes
  • Create quilts you never thought you would—AccuQuilt makes cutting curvy classic quilt patterns a snap
  • Save fabric with Two Tone Foam—Get more out of your fabric by placing it only over the shape you want to cut
  • Safe to use—No blades come anywhere near your fingers
  • No more math—Geometric shapes are designed with an accurate 1/4" seam allowance in the design
  • Quilt more, clip less—No more clipping all those dog-eared corners
  • Quick and easy applique—Apply fusible web to fabric prior to cutting

Storage: Organize GO! dies with AccuQuilt GO! Die Storage Rack (55115).

Care & Maintenance: Use adhesive roller to clean lint and thread from dies. After each use, with the die pick provided with the cutter, remove any threads imbedded between blades and foam. It's normal for threads to get caught where blades meet in a die. Remove with tweezers or die pick. Die blades never need to be sharpened.

Die Tips:

  • With some fabrics, after cutting, a thread or two will remain where die blades meet. Snip threads with scissors.
  • Use cutting mats that matches size of each die.
  • For best results, cut with die blades running under roller at an angle. Do not cut with blades parallel to roller.
  • Blades on some dies are positioned at an angle. Align fabric to edge of shape, not edge of die board.
  • Some dies feature specially designed corners to aid in alignment and pre-cutting.
  • For fast applique, apply fusible web to fabrics, then cut shapes with dies.
  • Use good quality fabric to reduce fabric stretch.
  • It's always a good idea to test cut one shape before cutting many shapes to ensure fabric orientation is correct.

Warranty: AccuQuilt GO! dies are guaranteed for one year.

So Nice To Have A Die To Cut Accurate Hexies

So Fast, So Accurate and So Much Fun

    Great shapes

This is working out very nicely for pot holders and placemats. Working up all kinds of different designs. This is so easy to use, no more hand cutting, could never get this great shape by hand.

Maybe I'll get this quilt done...

I've been working on a grandmother's flower garden in 1930's reproduction fabric off & on for about 10 years. Cutting one piece of fabric at a time and hand sewing each piece. In a few minutes before work I cut 60 center hexies ... maybe I will get this quilt done!

    Real Time-Saver

I enjoy paper-piecing hexagons. I enjoy sewing them together - not cutting them out by hand. This die makes preparing them so much more quicker and accurate.

    Love this die

I love this die. I don't use it to cut my fabric, rather I use it to cut the hexagon papers or cardstock. For the larger hexagon I cut multiple layers of freezer paper. Then, I iron those onto fabric strips or scraps. Eliminates using pins and makes it easy to handle the large hexagon. Using the large hexagon, I can make a lap quilt very quickly while watching TV. It would be wonderful if Accuquilt would make coordinating dies, one for the papers and one for the fabric. I would definitely buy it.

    Time saving

I have been getting into hexies, and I cannot wait to get this die. It will save so much time and effort, and make things so accurate. This die is in my future. I just wish it also had the coordinating paper sizes.

    Ultimate Time Saver

I am a new GO Fabric Cutter user. I quickly learned what a timesaver it can be in my quilting life. However, this die is the BEST. If you have any experience with paper-piecing hexagons, you know how time consuming the preparation can be. This die cuts tons of hexagons in a matter of minutes. LOVE IT!

    Error proof

Hand-cutting these shapes became tedious...left much room for errors!
